Tayla | Owner

Hi, my name is Tayla. I’ve been in the beauty and hair industry since 2014, starting as a hairdresser. After three years, I made the switch to beauty.

I loved beauty so much that I decided to expand my knowledge with cosmetic tattooing and fibroblasting, just to name a few.

In 2018, I started my own business, subcontracting to six different locations on the east coast of NSW. After managing Bersantai Toukley for some time, I purchased it in July 2022. In March 2024, I grew the Bersantai chain by opening my second salon in Kempsey, NSW. I have the most amazing staff and support team who believe in me and help make my vision come to fruition.

My goal is to provide each person who walks into our salons with the best experience possible, creating a relaxing environment while helping you achieve your dream skin!

Katie | Beauty Therapist

Hi I’m Katie. I have been working in the Beauty Industry since 2022, previously working in the pharmaceutical field for 8 years. Coming from a pharmaceutical background, I am able to incorporate my knowledge of skin condition heal your skin from the inside out.

My favourite treatments to perform are facials I love nothing more than being able to help clients feel confident in their own skin.

My goal is to not only leaving you feeling relaxed but to achieve your ultimate dream skin. I look forward to seeing you all in clinic.

Fay | Beauty Therapist

Hi there, I’m Fay. At the age of 17 I entered the medical field as a nurse, and after years of caring for people, I had a career and sea change moving from Bowral and becoming a Beauty Therapist.

Starting my own clinic at the age of 30 in South West Rocks, I provided personalised treatments delivering rejuvenating experiences to helped promote relaxation and enhance natural beauty. With over 21 years of experience running my own salon, I took another sea change - literal this time, deciding to travel the South East Asia with my partner Dave for 5 years on our yacht.

After returning home I decided to continue my love for being a Beauty Therapist for many years to come.

Shantelle | Beauty Therapist

Hi, I'm Shantelle. I began working solely in the Beauty industry in 2020 after working as a nurse for 20 years. After resigning from the medical field, I launched my own business in makeup & photography—specialising in Bridal.

Since, I have been given the opportunity to further my education in the beauty industry, allowing me to work alongside my Bridal clients months in advance, to deliver their dream bridal skin goals leading up to their special day. I am extremely passionate about skincare, prioritising self-care, nourishing your mind and body, and assisting clients in feeling confident in their own skin.

I am very excited to continue expanding my skills. I have a deep passion for the beauty industry and am incredibly proud to have the opportunity to do so as part of the Bersantai team.

Mckeely | Beauty Therapist

Hi, I'm Mckeely. I discovered my passion for beauty and the latest trends when I was exposed to its wonders in a renowned city. After returning home from the Gold Coast, I obtained my beauty qualification in December 2023.

Although my time in the beauty industry has been short, it has also been enriching. I love expressing my creativity through the art of beauty and helping people feel confident and beautiful.

I'm excited to further my knowledge within the salon and stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques to keep things exciting and fresh.
